Family Sponsorship
Family Sponsorship is a Canadian immigration program that allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their family members for permanent residency in Canada. Under this program, eligible sponsors can sponsor their spouses, common-law partners, conjugal partners, dependent children, parents, and grandparents to immigrate to Canada and become permanent residents. To be eligible to sponsor a family member, sponsors must meet certain requirements, including demonstrating that they have the financial means to support their sponsored family member and that they do not receive social assistance from the government. Additionally, sponsored family members must meet certain eligibility criteria, including passing medical and criminal background checks. Family Sponsorship is a way for Canadian citizens and permanent residents to reunite with their loved ones and build a life together in Canada. It allows families to remain connected and provides opportunities for family members to contribute to Canadian society and the economy.
